These are all the people who participated in your study. Each respondent&#8217;s entry contains:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li><strong>The respondent&#8217;s name<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; they provided this during the booking of the time slot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A thumbnail of the interview<\/strong>&nbsp;with access to the recording player.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Respondent selection via a checkbox<\/strong>. Selected respondents are highlighted and can have several operations done on top of them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Time slot detail<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; when the time slot started and ended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Questions answered<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; the number of questions expressed by a percentage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Source<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; how the respondent was recruited for the study. More on&nbsp;<a href=\"\/help\/study-interview-planning\/participants-step\">recruiting sources here<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Study-type-specific results such as:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Tasks completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cards sorted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Categories created<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Include in analysis<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; determines whether the respondent should be counted in the calculations found under the Analysis tab. Respondents who abandon the study are excluded by default.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">After you&#8217;ve adjusted which respondents should be included in the analysis, click&nbsp;<strong>Recalculate analysis<\/strong>&nbsp;above the list of respondents to apply the changes to the analysis (everything under the Analysis tab).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">By default, the respondents are ordered by the time when they participated in the study. You can change this order by selecting a different sorting metric in the&nbsp;<strong>Sort by<\/strong>&nbsp;dropdown list above the respondent list. Click the arrow buttons to change the order between ascending (arrow up and descending (arrow down).<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"filtering-options\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Filtering options<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"filtering-options\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">The analysis of multiple interviews can be eased by filtering the respondents. You can filter the respondents by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Questions answered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A response to a specific question<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Length of the interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study-type-specific results such as:\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Tasks completed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cards sorted<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Categories created<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"image-block\">    <div class=\"image-instance\">\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/1-16.png\" alt=\"Filtering options\" \/>\n                <div class=\"right-container\">\n            <div class=\"text\">\n                                    <h4>Filtering options<\/h4>\n                                                    <p>Filter respondents by their answers, task success rate, interview length, and more.<\/p>\n                            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"links\">\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"viewing-screened-out-participants\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Viewing Screened-Out Participants<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"viewing-screened-out-participants\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">In moderated studies, participants who receive a <strong>screenout in the screening questionnaire<\/strong> can be viewed in the participant list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">When at least one participant is screened out, a toggle appears in the dropdown above the participant list that allows you to switch between:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li><strong>Accepted participants<\/strong> \u2013 participants who passed the screening and attended the interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Screened-out participants<\/strong> \u2013 participants who did not pass the screening questionnaire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">Accepted and screened-out participants are displayed <strong>in separate lists<\/strong> and cannot be shown together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">This option works the same way in <strong>Study interviews<\/strong> and <strong>Freeform interviews<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"respondents-details\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Respondent&#8217;s details<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"respondents-details\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">The respondent&#8217;s details can be accessed after clicking on the&nbsp;<strong>Details button<\/strong>&nbsp;on the card of the respondent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">The details are split into multiple tabs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Overview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Questionnaire<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comments<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study-type-related results<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"overview\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Overview<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"overview\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">In this tab you can see the general information about the respondent including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Their name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Their rating<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The recording of their interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Their email<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Details about their time slot<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Source from where they were recruited<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any of your colleagues who were present as Moderators, Note-takers, or Observers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A brief summary of the interview<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">You can also edit the summary of the respondent\u2019s interview on this tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"image-block\">    <div class=\"image-instance\">\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/2-15.png\" alt=\"Overview tab\" \/>\n                <div class=\"right-container\">\n            <div class=\"text\">\n                                    <h4>Overview tab<\/h4>\n                                                    <p>The general information about the participants and their time slot.
