You can also turn card limits and tooltip descriptions on and off. In open and hybrid Card Sorting, you can also define rules for user-defined categories (such as whether they have to be named).<\/p>\n                            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"links\">\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"add-descriptions-to-your-categories\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Add descriptions to your categories<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"add-descriptions-to-your-categories\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>To add descriptions to categories, you have to enable them first. To enable them, select&nbsp;<strong>Add tooltip descriptions<\/strong>&nbsp;in the options panel to the right.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add category descriptions in the same way as the labels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"import-and-export-your-categories-in-a-csv-file\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Import and export your categories in a CSV file<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"import-and-export-your-categories-in-a-csv-file\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">Above the categories editor, there is an option to import and export cards stored in a CSV file. Use this option to easily reuse your categories between Card Sorting studies or, if you want, to bring in categories created somewhere other than in UXtweak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">Use UTF-8 encoded CSV files to ensure that the import works correctly. The simplest way to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/11R-IZf7SmxiScEGIFmoywHErvP2TwBFWmVkTWMj6aew\/edit?usp=sharing\">save your imported file with UTF-8 encoding is to edit it through Google Sheets<\/a>&nbsp;(click the link for more instructions). If you want them to find a name for all categories, select&nbsp;<strong>Require all categories named.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select&nbsp;<strong>Add category limits<\/strong>&nbsp;if you have any categories that should only contain a certain number of cards (e.g., &#8216;Top 5&#8217;). Then, go inside that category and set the maximum in there by setting the&nbsp;<strong>Card limit<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unless the order of categories is randomized, the respondents sort cards in the order they&#8217;re listed in.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To move a category up or down on the list, simply drag and drop it to the desired destination.
