tabindex=\"0\">Choose whether the screen, face and voice of the respondents will be recorded<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" recordings, you need to include the recording of the screen of the respondent to be recorded before being able to set up the other recordings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can choose to record any of the following combinations: screen and face, screen and voice, or screen, voice, and face.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you include any of the recordings, the respondents will be asked to provide consent for the selected recordings at the beginning of the study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every included recording will come with a device check that the respondent will be asked to complete at the beginning of the study.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Allowing this option will use up one Recording resource from your plan for each respondent, regardless of whether you have only the screen recording enabled or the additional recordings as well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"select-a-device-to-be-tested-on\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Select a device to be tested on<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" respondent identification options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Anonymous \u2013 The respondents don\u2019t have to identify themselves (default option)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Email address \u2013 Demand that they provide their email before they begin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other \u2013 Ask for another identifier of your choice (e.g., name, screen name, internal company ID)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">Unless the study is left anonymous, respondents won\u2019t be allowed to go forward until they identify themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">The respondents\u2019 identification will be displayed next to their study results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">If you selected Other identifiers, by enabling Allow duplicate identifiers, you can allow multiple respondents to use the same identifier (e.g., to identify members from the same group).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">By default, your study won\u2019t store the IP addresses of respondents. You can enable them with the Store respondent IP address option.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"protect-your-study-with-a-password\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Protect your study with a password<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"protect-your-study-with-a-password\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>No password \u2013 the study is open to anybody who has a link to it<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Private study \u2013 ask would-be respondents to enter a password first.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">The password has to be between 1 and 250 characters long, with no additional demands on the type of characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">Don\u2019t forget to share the password with the intended respondents!<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"set-the-ending-conditions-for-the-study\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Set the ending conditions for the study<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"set-the-ending-conditions-for-the-study\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">By finishing a study, you make sure that it stops collecting data from more respondents. You can finish a study both manually and automatically:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Manually \u2013 End the study anytime you want, without constraints<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respondent limit \u2013 Automatically finish the study once it\u2019s been conducted with enough respondents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Closing date \u2013 Automatically finish a study once a deadline has been reached.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">Even when you set a study to finish automatically, you can always finish it manually when you want to by clicking the Finish button.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">If a deadline is reached while some respondents are still working on completing the study, these respondents will be allowed to finish up.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"callout-block\" tabindex=\"0\">\n            <span class=\"callout-title\">CAN I REOPEN A FINISHED STUDY?<\/span>\n            <div class=\"callout-content\">Once a study has been finished, there is no way to reopen it. Therefore, be careful about setting your finishing conditions or finishing the study manually so that you&#8217;re absolutely sure you don&#8217;t want to collect any more data in the same study afterward.<br><br>If you want to repeat the same study as the one you did in the past, you can opt to\u00a0<a href=\"\/help\/creating-and-organizing-studies-from-the-dashboard\/\">clone<\/a>\u00a0the study project. You can either tweak it or leave it as is before you launch the project as a new study.
