The respondent cannot continue with the study without first agreeing with collection of their personal data.<\/p>\n                            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"links\">\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"set-page-privacy\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Set page privacy<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"set-page-privacy\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Website Testing records on all pages of your website\/web app by default<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check<span>\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"box-sizing: inherit; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;\">only record on specified pages<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>and click<span>\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"box-sizing: inherit; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;\">Define pages<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>to manually set rules for the recorded pages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can set rules for included URLs and excluded URLs. For a page to be recorded it has to be fit at least one of the rules for being included and not fit any of the rules for being excluded<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click<span>\u00a0<\/span><b style=\"box-sizing: inherit; -webkit-tap-highlight-color: transparent;\">Add<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>to add more rules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use the URL validator below to verify whether a page URL will be recorded under the current conditions or not<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"text-block\">There are severals ways in which a URL can be matched:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Simple URL match &#8211; ignores the query and hash<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exact URL match<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>URL starts with<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>URL ends with<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>URL contains<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>URL regular expression<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"image-block\">    <div class=\"image-instance\">\n                    <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/3-57.png\" alt=\"Page privacy\" \/>\n                <div class=\"right-container\">\n            <div class=\"text\">\n                                    <h4>Page privacy<\/h4>\n                                                    <p>By copy and pasting a page URL into included pages, you will limit recording only to that specific page and any other pages that you also add there. Adding a page into excluded pages will make sure that that page will not be recorded. You can test if a page is going to be recorded or not by pasting its URL into the URL match validator.<\/p>\n                            <\/div>\n            <div class=\"links\">\n\n            <\/div>\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<h2 id=\"set-element-privacy-rules\" class=\"heading-block\" tabindex=\"0\">Set element privacy rules<a class=\"copy-link\" title=\"Copy link\" data-id=\"set-element-privacy-rules\">&nbsp;<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/help.uxtweak.com\/wp-content\/themes\/uxtweak\/public\/assets\/images\/icons\/link.svg\" alt=\"Copy link\" \/><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n<ul class=\"bullet-list\">\n<li>Below regional privacy settings, click Advanced rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Here, you can define privacy rules for specific elements on your website by specifying their CSS selector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Included elements override regional privacy settings and can allow for information that is generally not recorded (such as form inputs, email addresses or numbers) to be recorded in any element that matches the specified CSS selector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excluded elements can be used to disable recording of specific elements on your website. There are three options for excluding an element. Ignore events displays the element in recordings but disables recording of events such as typing and mouse clicks. Grey Box replaces the element in recordings with and empty grey box. Mask replaces all text within the element with asterisks (*).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the css selector that should not be recorded (tags, ids, classes and attributes are all valid)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Write a note to label the element privacy rule with.
