Which mobile shopping app layout is more intuitive?

When coming up with alternative designs for our shopping app, we found quick Preference Tests among the best ways to test how users view our concepts. Which designs they see as most intuitive, trustworthy or visually appealing, what are their arguments for or against our design ideas. The results led us to a design of our new app where the placement of elements feels more familiar to users. Moreover, this kind of testing gets the job done almost instantly since all you need are simple wireframes.

In this test, we give participants 4 tasks where they decide which layout they find more intuitive for a shopping app. We test the placement of elements such as the home button and UIs for payment selection. In the follow-up questions, we ask about the justification for each answer.
