Block certain IP addresses from being recorded Copy link

  • Mobile App Testing lets you block specific IP addresses or IP ranges (e.g., to prevent recording sessions from your own team).
  • Either enter an exact IP address or define an IP range using wildcards (e.g., 192.168.1.*).
  • Click Add IP to add another IP address or range to block.
  • For example, you can add the IP address of your company router to prevent recording sessions from your own employees.

Set screening for OS versions Copy link

  • Automatically screen out respondents based on data from their user agent.
  • By default, all respondents who meet the minimum requirements for a Mobile App Testing study (iOS 14 or Android 9.0 and later) are accepted.
  • You can further screen out respondents based on their specific OS version.
  • Either select only record from allowed OS versions to create an allowlist, or select never record from blocked OS versions to create a blocklist.
  • Click Select versions to choose which OS versions should or shouldn’t be recorded, depending on your previous selection.
