Replaying testing sessions 
In the Testing Player, you can replay a video of respondents interacting with your app/website/prototype while they’re trying to solve tasks. You’ll get to learn exactly how your respondents behaved, which in some cases can tell you much more about your site than explicit feedback (questionnaires, comments) ever could.

- The majority of the Testing Player screen is dedicated to video playback. Use the standard video controls (play, pause, rewind, video speed, video timeline) to play back the video recording of the testing session.
- The video shows the recording of the respondent’s screen made during the testing. The recording covers the duration of the tasks, including the filling in of questionnaires.
- Click the ellipsis button to copy the visited URL or to visit the page directly.
- The buttons in the upper right will allow you to go back to the study results and to maximize the player.
Navigating the testing timeline
In the bar on the left, you will find the testing timeline. This timeline serves as an overview of the whole testing activity.
- The timeline is made up of the individual steps of the testing activity, from the moment when the screen recording started to when it ended. Depending on your study’s setup, it may include any number of tasks with their post-task questionnaires, as well as a pre-study and post-study questionnaire
- Each step includes its name, timestamps in the recording where it begins and ends and its duration.
- Click a step to rewind the testing player to the beginning of that step in the recording
