What is session pacing? Copy link

UXtweak Session Recording allows you to record a specific number of sessions every month, depending on your subscription plan.

Some other services may use sampling to spread your sessions over the month by splitting your recording capacity between smaller periods of time – usually days and hours of day. This means there’s typically a limit on the number of sessions that you may record per day. For example, if you don’t use your daily capacity of 1000 sessions because only 500 people visited your site, you cannot record more visitors on a different day when you have 2000 visitors. You effectively lose those 500 sessions.

Session pacing is a method that UXtweak uses, which allows for dynamic distribution of the sessions throughout the month, adapting to the number of sessions that you have left. If you have a lot of unused sessions, the rate at which sessions are recorded increases. If your quota is running out, the rate slows down.
