How do I use Task Player in Prototype Testing?

In this help, we’ll discuss how to use the Task Player for:

Replaying tasks

In the Task Player, you can replay a screen, face and voice recording of a participant completing tasks on your website.

The majority of the Task Player screen is dedicated to task playback. Use the standard video controls (play, pause, rewind, video speed, video timeline) to play back the task recordings.
If you enabled voice recording, you can adjust the volume of the voice recording playback with the volume controls.
The player area portrays exactly what the respondent was seeing at any point in time. if you recorded their face as well, these recordings will be synchronized and played together.
The information in the upper right corner tells you what exact display resolution the respondent is currently using.

The panel on the left side of the player allows you to switch between the chapters of the current recording.

Use the timestamps to skip to a specific chapter of the recording.
Each section of the study has its own chapter. These sections are for example the questionnaires or specific tasks in your study.
You can see the start and end time for each chapter as well as the calculated length of the chapter.
For the task chapters you can see if the task ended with success, fail or if it was skipped.

The recording of the face of the participant is displayed in a separate floating window.

The face view is by default located at the bottom left corner.
The face view is partialy covering the screen recording. You can hide the face view or move it to any other corner.
Use the corner arrows of the face view to move it to a different corner.
