What is done in the Participants step of the planning?
In this help, we'll discuss how to use the Participants step to choose how you would like to recruit participants for your interviews in the following substeps:
- Recruiting Management
- Custom Screening
- Participant Sources
Recruiting Management
First you need to decide whether you would like UXtweak’s help in recruiting participants or if you would like to recruit participants on your own.
Custom Screening
In this substep you can choose to add a custom screening question to your interview.
- The Screening question is shown to the participants during the registration for time slots. participants cannot continue before they answer this question (if you turned it on).
- The Screening question can only be a multiple option question
- To screen the participants properly add only mutually exclusive options in your screening question
- The purpose of the Screening question is to accept only those respondents who meet certain conditions
Participant Sources
In this substep, you add and manage the sources from which the participants will be recruited for your interview.
User Panel participants
If you choose to recruit participants from the User Panel, you will need to add a User Panel order to your interview.
The targeting you are looking for is all set up in the order itself. You will be also provided with an estimation of the price for your ordered recruiting. UXtweak staff will then contact you about the final price and then we will take care of the whole recruiting process for you.
Own sourced participants
You can combine all of the own source recruiting options in your interview. You can recruit using the direct link, Own Database and Onsite Recruiting widget.
You can add multiple different participant recruiting channels to your interview.
Each time slot in the schedule can be connected to only one recruiting source.
