What is done in the General step of the planning?

This section covers how to use the General step to:

  • Name your study
  • Set the language of your study
  • Add a link that you can share with the participants
  • Add notes about the study
  • Choose a device participants should use

Name your study Copy link

  • Participants don’t see the study name displayed anywhere.
  • Use a name that helps you identify the study on the dashboard.

Set the language of your study Copy link

  • Language determines the language of the labels and headings in the study.
  • Currently, 15 languages are supported. More languages are coming soon.
  • This link can be easily shared with the participants via chat during the call.
  • You can add a link to your prototype, slides, or any other visual materials you would like to use in your interview.

Keep notes on your interview Copy link

The notes provide you with an opportunity to store additional information about the interview.

Example uses for notes:

  • Details about targeting
  • Current phase of the research process
  • Hypotheses you are trying to confirm with this batch

Your notes can be edited after you have started the interview process. The notes are not shown to the participants at any point.

Choose a device type Copy link

  • You can choose whether participants join using a desktop device, mobile device, or both.
  • Participants will only be able to access the session from the selected device(s).
