How do I interpret the Click Map in First Click Test?
In this help, we'll discuss how to use the Click Map analysis to:
- View a Click Map per task
View a Click Map per task
- This analysis displays Click Map data, one task at a time
- Use the task selection dropdown list in the top section of the screen to switch to the task you want to analyze.
- Alternatively, use the arrow buttons to the left and right of the dropdown list to move to the previous/next task.
For each task, Task Statistics contain the task's text, the click map and the hotspot data.
In the Click Map, you can see the positions of first clicks made by the respondents visualized as points on the click map. Any hotspots that you've defined for the design are displayed as well. You may toggle the visibility of hotspots on and off by using the Show hotspots switch.
Below the click map is the hotspot data table, which contains the following:
- Hotspot picture
- Hotspot name
- Percentage of respondents - What percentage of respondents clicked this hotspot. The sum od percentages for all hotspots may be over 100%, since the hotspots may intersect and so the same click can be counted for multiple hotspots at once.
- Number of respondents - How many respondents clicked this hotspot.
